ALUMNI

Annual Alumni Meet 2019 was held on 27-07-2019 Sharada Sabhangana Auditorium, KLE Society's college campus, Bengaluru. The aim of the meet was to reunite the alumni working in various places and to recollect, rejoice the college memories and to share their work experience. About 23 alumni participated in the meet and interacted with the present students.

The proceedings started with invocation and lighting of lamp by Principal and office bearers of the association and some alumnus. President of Alumni association welcomed participants to the alumni meet and wished for a grand success of the meet.

Majority of the alumni gave their feedback and fondly remembered their days in the college and their wish to be in touch with institution and to co-operate with the alumni association functions.

Following are some notable / major suggestions.

•     Alumni students requested to create a group to enhance the present student’s knowledge in the area of basic skills, personal skills and communication
•     The gap between the industry and institutional learning should be bridged by arranging industry visits / guest lecture by industry personnel / interaction of alumni employed in industry with final semester / year students
•     Suggestion to initiate workshop / small group discussion groups as a platform to suggest PCI / apex bodies to include soft skills as part of the course.
•     Arrange soft skill programme to outgoing students.

In the event the alumni students were invited to visit the college campus to know the present atmosphere and guide the students for placement.

Dr. Purnima Ashok proposed the vote of thanks and thanked the alumni for their suggestions and participation.
