• Mission : To provide a strong base to Pharmaceutical Analysis, where students, faculty & staff work collaboratively to expand knowledge in basic subjects and communication skills providing a foundation that is appropriate to their career goals.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis was established in the current academic year 2021-22 with a focused aim of developing pharmacists with sharpened analytical skills that is highly sought after by Pharmaceutical industries. The goals envisaged by the department include establishing Department-Industry collaborations and consultancy activities.

The Department has started a new specialization at PG level, i.e., M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Analysis from 2021-22 and is ably supported by excellent infrastructure with sophisticated and modern instruments available in two instrumentation rooms.

The department, comprised of dedicated and experienced faculty will be involved in teaching B.Pharm., Pharm.D. and M.Pharm. programs. As a research cluster of KLE, the department will be actively involved in analytical method development, standardization and stability studies of API’s and formulations, validation, and impurity profiling by different advanced analytical techniques.

The department plans to encourage skill development in PG students by facilitating industry-institute collaborative projects. The department is well equipped to undertake research projects from government as well as private funding agencies.
